Sniper fue rescatado de una gasolinera en Ponce, es de esos perros que te roban el corazón de tan solo mirarlo. Veía como la gente le pasaba por el lado con miedo y hasta le tiraban los carros encima sin importarle el tumor que llevaba consigo el cual le dificultaba caminar. En ese momento no podía llevármelo y no sabia que hacer, así que le tome una foto y me puse en contacto con Leticia Troche, la cual hizo todo lo que estuvo a su alcance para rescatarlo. Sniper fue rescatado un día después de que lo vi por primera vez y fue llevado a la clínica veterinaria de Juana Díaz, en donde se le realizo la cirugía para extirparle el tumor el cual peso 8lbs!!!! Sniper estuvo bajo el cuidado de todas las personas que trabajan allí, a las que se le agradece grandemente todo lo que hicieron por el y todo lo que hacen por todos los animalitos que se llevan allí. Después que se le realizaron todas las pruebas, tristemente salio positivo a gusanos en el corazón L y se le encontró una fractura vieja en la cadera de la pata posterior derecha. Me hice cargo de darle Foster y lo lleve una semana después para quitarle los puntos de su herida, ese día se le hicieron exámenes adicionales y se le encontró infección en los oídos y entropión (una enfermedad en los ojos en donde el parpado se le mete hacia adentro) se le recetaron medicamentos para eso. Sniper es un perro que a sufrido mucho, pero no parece importarle nada de eso pues es todo un amor. Pronto hay que llevarlo a que se comience el pre-tratamiento del corazón y luego el tratamiento, también hay que castrarlo y extirparle otro tumorcito que tiene en el pecho.

After they performed all tests sadly Sniper gave a positive test on heart worms and was found a old fracture in the hip right hind paw. I took care and foster him, after a week I take him to the veterinarian again for get removed the stitches from his wound, that day they did further testing and found that Sniper has a ear infection and entropion (an eye disease when the lid goes inside the eye) they prescribed medications for that. Sniper is a dog that has suffered a lot, but none of that seems to matter to him, He is a sweet and lovely dog. Soon we must carry it to start the pre-treatment of the heart and then the treatment, He also is gong to be castrated and extirpate another tumor that he have in the chest.
