Marino fue rescatado en el pueblo de Guayanilla hace aproximadamente un mes y medio, una rescatista dio la voz de alerta y Leticia Troche junto a Luis la Z' (dueño de Tazmania) se hicieron cargo del rescate. Marino, como fue nombrado por su ahora Foster mom, fue llevado a Juana Díaz animal hospital en donde se le diagnostico sarna hereditaria y se le dio su tratamiento, el cual consiste de un baño a la semana y una medicina vía oral. Marino también estaba muy bajo peso y hubo que esperar que ganara peso para vacunarlo y desparasitarlo, lo cual se hizo semanas después de su rescate. Su piel a mejorado grandemente al igual que su peso y animo, pero la cuenta del veterinario todavía esta alta y necesitamos toda la ayuda que se pueda conseguir. A marino todavía le falta la castración además de el seguimiento de su condición de la piel para que este angelito pueda ser puesto en adopción.
